Globe Int'l Silent Filmfest calls for entries

The Globe International Silent Film Festival has called for entries.

The 4th edition of the festival has announced the call for entries from June 23- November 1, 2018.

The first edition of the Globe International Silent Film Festival was held in Iran.

The debut edition had received incredible reception on the international scale – around 2,200 films were submitted to the festival, the official website of the festival wrote.

According to the fest's official site, some Iranian artists such as director Kambuzia Partovi sit on the jury in the latest edition of the fest.

Silent films refer to films without dialogue or narration and recount their stories through the language of imagery, just as a painting.

The 1st Globe International Silent Film Festival was held in April 2016 with the hosting of the Art University of Tehran.
